I just finished a book on the Noahide Laws called Secular by Design by Alan Cecil (PDF link above).   What an eye-opener. This book has hardly anything to do with the Noahide Law and absolutely everything to do with a rabid hatred of Western culture. The entire thing from front to cover is 1) anti-science, 2) anti-Greco-Roamn, 3) anti-Christian, 4) anti-enlightenment, 5) anti-democracy, 6) anti-capitalist, 7) anti-American, and above all else, 8) anti-constitution.  Alan Cecil paints the democratic West as an immoral decadent slave pit of racism and usury, and this is all the fault of democracy. Cecil goes through every major enlightenment scientist, philosopher, historian, theologian, and sociologist and accuses them of anti-Semetism because they dared to criticize the Torah, all of the West is inherently anti-Semitic according to Cecil. He tries to destroy the American political system and dismantle our economic system.  He accuses the West of being Edom and Esau.  It's an absolute tirade against European culture. Then, at the very end of the book, Cecil takes up less than 1% of the volume to offer his solution, the Noahide Laws.  He then goes on to lay out an archaic code which deals with things like harvesting laws and laws surrounding domestic animals, this along with laws that force a person who has been robbed to take on his thief as his slave and take care of him in his own home rather than send him to prison (who wants a thief in their home?), laws that force a woman to marry her rapist, laws that allow you to sell your daughter into marital slavery, laws to kill sorcerers, laws against charging at interest and so on.  For anyone who is interested in exploring the anti-Western nature of the Noahide Laws it is a good read.  Just don't expect this to be a book about the Noahide Laws, you will learn very little then at the end where 209 laws a laid out. It is mostly an exercise in hate against the United States. Alan Cecil's website is www. academyofshem. wordpress .com

Noahidist author says blasphemy stems from "pathology" and "abnormal psychology": Book Review, The Rainbow Covenant

 TABLE OF CONTENTS

According to the book Rainbow Covenant by Michael Dallen, anyone who blasphemes and is "pathological" and has "abnormal psychology".  Would a Noahide state put blasphemes in mental institutions?

So this is a crime of relative sophistication — only man cannblaspheme his Maker — flowing from ugly and rebellious impulses of crude resentment. It is pathological, a matter of abnormal psychology, as well, of course, as absolutely futile. It defiles the divine gift of speech by cursing its holy Giver. Worse, perhaps, it breaks down the elaborately constructed fences by which men protect their most precious treasure — a true idea of God and holiness. (Dallen, 2003, pp. 231-232)

According Michael Dallen who wrote the Rainbow Covenant, a non-Jew who blasphemes the name of god deserves a "bad death" and that even his or her family is shamed.

Treason weakens a people. Anyone who suffers exposure to treason has an obligation to bring the traitor to justice. Among Israel, justice must be the same for the Gentile as the Hebrew blasphemer: a Gentile living among Jews isn't bound to worship or believe in the One God but must never actively, publicly, attack Him. If he does attack Him, he deserves to suffer punishment no less horrendous than his crime: a bad death, public disgrace, and — usually — the disgrace even of his family. (Dallen, 2003, p. 231)
